Nike High Performance Program

The Nike High Performance Program is designed for ambitious Excel athletes ready to compete at the highest level. Handpicked for their talent, work ethic, and drive, these athletes are committed to elevating their game and facing Calgary's best.

With a focus on reaching the college and university level in North America, athletes in this program will receive advanced training, skill development, and mentorship, both on and off the court.

Program Features:

2-3 team practices per week
Training with NFL high performance trainers through SMART performance
Development with Excel’s in-house trainers, who have helped numerous athletes reach the college/university level
Local and out-of-town competition, including tournaments across North America
Exposure to college coaches from USPORT, ACAC, NCAA, and NAIA

Athletes also receive a full Nike gear package and exclusive uniforms, and will be featured on Excel and Calgary Surge social media platforms.

Please note that those registered for the Academy program will still have the opportunity to evaluate for the High Performance teams, and will be guaranteed a spot on an Academy team if they do not evaluate to the High Performance Program.
